It has been wonderful to have the students back in school this week! It is amazing how the buildings are transformed with the love and joy that the children bring with them each day!
These first few days as a Notre Dame ACE Academy have brought with them some new things to St. Patrick Catholic School. On Wednesday, we had a school assembly to end the day in which we focused on our root beliefs and core values. Our root beliefs have been developed by the faculty and staff here at St. Patrick and are unique to our community (they are at the end of this letter). The core values are a set of shared values with all 15 of the Notre Dame ACE Academies across the national network. These will continue to be a focus for our community throughout this year and beyond.
This coming week, on Wednesday, 8/16, we will have our opening Parent-Teacher Organization meeting in McCall Hall at 6:30 PM. This meeting is mandatory and all families should be represented at the meeting. It is essential that we all come together to talk about the school year and expectations. These opportunities work both to keep you informed about what is happening at school and strengthening the school family partnership that benefits the students. For your convenience, the PTO Board has arranged to have a quick meal available for families starting at 6:00 PM. Additionally, we will be offering child care in the media center for during the meeting.
Thank you again for being a part of the St. Patrick Catholic School community and I look forward to seeing you next week.
Yours in Christ,
