Happy March! Another busy month is upon us as we begin the month with ITBS testing. We have been preparing and the children will do great on the test!. We continue to press on with our studies despite having to work around the testing. If you were unaware, March is the month we celebrate famous women. We will have a lot of fun looking at women and how they helped shape our history. The children did great with their president projects and will be using them to do a computer project.
I was able to STAR test the children and new reading levels will be coming home. I am quite pleased to say that every student saw a rise in their reading level! Therefore, I cannot say it enough how important it is for the children to read every day. The extreme reader for February was Mica. She received 41 check marks. Way to go Mica!
Every month I am going to “catch” one of the children using extra good behavior and their name will go on the fish board by the front office. The person I caught for February was Jack. Great job Jack!
